We are a seed stock breeding program for historic Boerboel bloodlines.

Beginning in 2018 and continuing today we purchase and secure sire genetic stock sourced from South African Boerboel breeding studs with date of births between 1998 to 2013 that had their semen frozen banked in South Africa.

A good amount of that sire pool is already from a quarter century or longer ago. Not just a collection of dogs that scored in the 90’s in their appraisals 20 plus years ago, —it is a curated seed bank for control, long-term genetic curated development of historic bloodlines, and continuity in the purebred Boerboel bloodlines.

Breeding collaboration’s with Kennels Owners of quality females in South Africa in exchange for female breeding quality pups began in 2025 and will continue through early 2027.

Boerboel bloodlines

Jäger is a closed seed-stock program using curated line-breeding to preserve and concentrate three historic Boerboel families of dogs—Grasland, Mighty-Nostras, and Cabaret. Through a female generational system of breeding back to our sire pool, each line is developed over four generations to a 7/8ths (87.5%) or greater genetic concentration of that family. The result is three distinct, stable, purebred bloodline families engineered for long-term genetic preservation, seed-stock integrity, and academic canine study and research.
